Terms of Service
Effective 2026-09-29. Operator: Active Life Hub LLC.
1. The service
Agent Errors provides information: structured records of publicly documented failures of AI agents, their reported causes, attempted remediations and documented outcomes, and a search that finds records similar to the symptoms you describe. It is an information service. It does not access, modify, test or repair your systems, and it does not execute code you or anyone else submits.
2. Informational nature; no guarantee
- Search results express similarity to documented cases. They are not a diagnosis of your agent or software.
- A remediation documented as successful in one context may not work, or may cause harm, in yours. Software, versions, models and configurations differ.
- Records reflect their sources at the time of retrieval. Sources can be incomplete, mistaken or outdated, and projects change after a record is made. Every record states its sources, retrieval dates, evidence status and confidence; read them.
- You are solely responsible for deciding whether to apply any change, for testing it, and for the consequences of applying it.
3. Payments
Paid lookups cost the price shown on /pricing and in the payment challenge at the time of the request (0.018 USDC at the time of this build), paid in USDC through the x402 protocol. A payment settles only when the result is produced in the same request; if settlement fails, nothing is charged. Retrying with the same payment authorization returns the same result without a second charge; an authorization cannot be reused for a different request. Blockchain payments are irreversible once settled; if you believe you were charged without receiving a result, provide the result id or transaction reference to the operator. You are responsible for your wallet, keys and any network fees. The service never asks for private keys or recovery phrases.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent rate limits or payment, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or submit unlawful content.
- Do not submit secrets, credentials, personal data or confidential code in queries. Describe symptoms instead.
- Do not use the service to plan or carry out attacks on systems you are not authorized to test. Security records describe vulnerabilities at the level of their public advisories so that they can be fixed.
- Automated access by agents is welcome within these terms and the published rate limits.
5. Intellectual property and sources
Records link to their original sources and quote short excerpts for evidentiary purposes; rights in quoted material remain with their authors and publishers, under their licenses (e.g. GitHub content under its authors’ terms, Stack Exchange content under CC BY-SA, GitHub Advisory Database under CC-BY-4.0). The structure, classifications and compilation are the operator’s. You may use results you obtain to operate and repair your own systems, and quote individual records with attribution; you may not resell or bulk-redistribute the database. Rights holders who object to an excerpt may ask for its removal.
6. Availability
The service is provided as available. It may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. Paid results remain retrievable for 24 hours after purchase.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and all information are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from use of the service or from applying any information; the operator’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the lookups giving rise to the claim during the three months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated; the effective date above changes when they are. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the updated terms.
